A rematch between hard-hitting lightweights Saeksan Or Kwanmuang and Pakorn PKSaenchaimuaythaigym will headline a May 2 show at the new Lumpinee Stadium.
Pakorn is the reigning Lumpinee 135-pound champion after winning the belt by beating Singdam Kiatmoo9 at the grand opening of the new stadium on Ramintra Road in February, although this is not being advertised as a title match.
However it does promise to be an exciting matchup as both these Nak Muay have a reputation for being extremely aggressive and have been in some memorable fights over the years. They fought in Songkhla earlier this month and Saeksan won a narrow decision.

Saketdao Petchpayathai has been one of the biggest draws at the Bangkok stadiums over the past few years although he is now coming towards the end of his career. He suffered the ignominy of being knocked out by a Chinese fighter earlier this year but made a successful return to Lumpinee this month, beating Panpet Kiatjaroenchai by unanimous decision.
Saketdao has held Lumpinee titles in three different divisions in the past and will be looking to make it back to back wins and recapture some past glories when he takes on Yodpanomrung Por Chaiwat. It will also be an opportunity to avenge his team mate’s brutal recent KO loss at the hands of the same opponent.
Another Lumpinee champion will be in action in what appears to be a non-title fight, as current 115-pound king Wanchalong Sitsornong looks to build on the momentum he has after a recent win over reigning “Fighter of the Year” Panpayak Jitmuangnon when he takes on Kengkla Sor Chokkitchai.
Panpayak is also on the card, and the young prodigy will be looking to get back to winning after losing to Wanchalong earlier this month when he takes on Ponlakit Kor Kampanat.
The Kiatpetch Promotions show starts at 6:30pm on May 2 at the new Lumpinee Stadium. Here’s the lineup:
Saeksan Or Kwanmuang vs Pakorn PKSaenchaimuaythaigym

It is worth noting that Lumpinee Stadium is no longer located in the Lumpinee area. The old venue shut down earlier this year and the new, air-conditioned indoor arena is on Ramintra Road. Check out the map below.
