The Energy Policy and Planning Office has restructured domestic petrol prices which will result in reduced prices at the pump for benzene and gasoline starting after midnight.
After a discussion today, the office decided to reduce the excise duty for benzene and gasohol in line with global energy prices, resulting in a per-liter decrease of THB3.89 for benzene, THB2.12 for gasohol 95, THB1.86 for gasohol 91, and THB1 for E20 gasohol.
However, the price of diesel will increase by 14 satang.
The Ministry of Energy has also ordered an inspection on the country’s stockpile of petroleum and mandates all retailers to decrease their sale prices nationwide after midnight, MThai reported.
