Hand-woven scenes from a very busy womb at Serindia Gallery

The art and technology of creating human life is translated to the art of hand-weaving at “Womb”  a textile exhibition coming to Serindia Gallery.

The exhibition features woven works using appliqué techniques to express artist Ploenchan “Mook” Vinyaratn thoughts, inspiration and earliest moments of her bond between mother and sons based on images and recordings from her 34-week pregnancy with triplets.

Entry is free, and the opening reception starts at 6:30pm, June 26 and runs through July 31.
