Half submerged Ferrari leaves netizens concerned over possible car repairs

A picture of a half-submerged Ferrari California stuck in the middle of Ngam Wong Wan road  on Monday has been making rounds on social media and collecting sympathy from Thai netizens everywhere.

To whoever owns that gorgeous, half-submerged Ferrari California: the internet feels your pain.

Many netizens expressed concern as to how much it would cost to repair the damages, to which Facebook page Evo Magazine Thai Edition replied, over THB2 million.

The car’s retail price is around THB22 million, so a THB2 million fix sounds…accurate.

Evo Magazine Thai Edition wrote a list of what they believe will be on the list of repairs, including floor carpets, the electronic system for both seats, the engine and transmission control units, the catalytic converter sensor, and intake and exhaust systems. Not to mention, mechanic labor fees.

There might be other costs for cleaning and sanitizing the whole car as well. Who knows what has been in that street water?

Many have made complaints about the weather conditions as well, sharing their experiences of Monday’s flood traffic. Unfortunately, the Meteorological Department said that these conditions might be staying until this Sunday, reported Bangkok Post.
