The Traffic Police have launched an app called “Get Van Booking” to allow people to book Inter-provincial van trips easily and in advance without going to a station.
They developed their app to allow passengers to book seats on vans traveling along 30 popular routes. It also allows users to report bad service, speeding, or any inappropriate behavior by drivers.
Deputy Commander of the Metropolitan Police Bureau Pol. Maj. Gen. Chiraphat Phumichit said the app is a good way to cut down on waiting time for public vans, especially during holidays, reported Thai News Bureau.
The “Get Van Booking” app is free and newly available for Android and iOS, in both Thai and English.
