An agency of the military government has released the un-startling data that the population is very impressed with them. They have also revealed that people are incredibly pleased with unelected junta leader Prayuth Chan-ocha and his work over the last two years.
The National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) surveyed 1,250 completely honest and unbiased people between August 15 and 18 about their happiness with the junta leader.
Incredibly, almost no one had an unkind word to say about Prayuth. 42.4 percent said the prime minister’s performance was “the best,” 45.2 percent said his performance was “good,” and only 6.32 percent said his performance was “not so good.” A paltry 3.52 percent said his performance was “not good at all.” But they probably just misheard the question.
The government agency conducted a similar poll in February and, apparently, more people are satisfied with Prayuth’s performance this season, reported Thai PBS.
Among the survey questions were whether or not the leader was dedicated and held the right ideals. The poll said that 85.84 percent of respondents believe that Prayuth is “dedicated and ideological” while 8.16 percent said he has “no ideology and he has been working just to keep himself and the National Council for Peace and Order in power.”
When asked about his decision-making powers, an astounding 85.68 percent said he “has the courage to make tough decisions.” Sure, like taking control of the country without ever being elected and naming himself as the sole lawmaker.
