So you’ve just finished baking 10 boxes of your free-range, artisanal macaroons for a new customer in Pathum Thani. Or maybe it’s two pallets of fungus you need sent to Bangkok restaurants from your Buriram mushroom farm.
The creators of a new app hope you’ll start thumb-punching your delivery into a smartphone to find a local driver using their system, which aims to do for logistics what Uber and GrabTaxi did for personal transport.
Called “lalaMove,” the service “will help improve the inefficient and fragmented logistics market of Thailand,” said Santit Jirawongkraisorn, the firm’s chief in Thailand, in a news release.

Santit said they’ll vet drivers for reliability.
“These drivers were all selected and verified by our strict selection process, and went through our intensive training to make sure they provide the best service to Thai users,” he added.
The app is already available for both Android and iPhone smartphones under the EasyVan brand, and Thailand’s will drop Monday.
They’ve also launched in Hong Kong and Singapore and plan to expand into China and Taiwan.
UPDATED: Story has been updated to reflect the service’s launch date on Nov. 24.
