One Pattaya 7-Eleven has a great strategy for keeping the soi dogs away — they got themselves a big, hairy goat to sit on the steps.
In a 45-second clip posted by Facebook page Hot News Clip, a long-haired goat that looks more like it belongs at the top of a cold mountain than outside a tropical convenience store, chills out in front of the door of a Pattaya 7-Eleven. Thai people pass by like the goat is no big deal. Apparently, the goat is named “Bo.” He is owned by a local family in Soi Khao Talo and is seen at the store almost daily.
However, one farang guy, looking to be in full vacation mode with his matching fluorescent tank top and sneakers, decides to have a seat with Bo and give the goat a little petting before leaning in for a selfie session. Bo’s not really into it though and, before the dude can even get one killer shot to impress his friends back home, the goat gets up and walks down to the street.
