Walk five minutes from BTS Thong Lor to an unlikely stretch of land where city folk can grow veggies and shop green.
From 3pm to 5pm on Sunday, Root Garden will offer a free workshop on urban gardening by Nakhon Limpakuptathawon, one of Bangkok’s pioneers of urban growing.
Live acoustic music will also play over the urban farm as visitors can check out fresh produce for sale from shops in the Thai City Farm network.
Space for the workshop can be reserved by sending an email with your name, sex and age.
Root Market says this will be a regular thing on the second and fourth Sunday of every month.
