A viral video of a female student abusing a younger student in a girl’s scouting uniform has left people in Chiang Mai frightened.
The violent incident occurred on Tuesday after classes at an identified school in Chiang Mai. According to Thai News Agency, a Mathayom 2 student was asked by an upperclassman to meet her to “resolve their problems.”
This upperclassman had reportedly been kicked out of school.
Still in her school uniform, she abused and verbally degraded the younger girl in the Thai Red Cross Youth uniform.
The girl in uniform remained unresponsive and silent throughout the episode as the former student hit and kick her. Not only that, the poor girl was forced to kowtow at the upperclassman’s feet, an action of highest respect to the lowest part of the body.
In the video, the former student was yelling and encouraging her opponent to fight back. She implied that this fight all started from a hostile Facebook post by the younger student.

In the end, a male student came in and stopped the fight, then the video ended.
Pol. Col. Piyapan Pattarapongsin, of Chiang Mai Provincial Police, met with the principal regarding the situation.
The school principal has asked both students, along with their parents, to resolve the issue and attempt reconciliation. The former student’s parents did not show up to the meeting.
