Hoping to become a destination of choice for the rich and groovy, CentralWorld is building a raft of trendy eateries set to launch next year.
Developer Central Pattana’s “Groove” project will fill 15,000 sqm in front of their anchor mall, in what they are billing as a “new world-class hangout” in the heart of the city.
Designed after trendy consumer zones such as New York’s Meatpacking District and Singapore’s Clarke Quay, Groove will host Thai and international restaurants such as Hide & Seek, Greyhound, Wine I Love You, and Wabi Sabi. Centrals said they want to meet a growing appetite for restaurants offering appealing atmospheres as much as delicious food.
After Groove launches in early 2014, Central plans to expand it to their malls in Chiang Mai and Koh Samui.
