Get free accident insurance from Cafe Amazon during the deadly days of Songkran

Now through April 16, coffee megachain Cafe Amazon will give accident insurance coverage up to THB100,000 to all of its customers.

“For customers who come to use the Café Amazon service, just buy any type of Café Amazon product and get it for free!” it announced yesterday. “Accident insurance, coverage up to 100,000 baht, 1 right (no limit on the number of privileges for receiving accident insurance rights, coverage throughout the project period) from April 6, 2023 – April 16, 2023.”

Buy any cup of coffee and sign up via a QR code. Customers will need to provide their name, ID number, and home address. The offer is available to Thai nationals only.

Cafe Amazon is a ubiquitous presence at the filling stations operated by its parent company, petrochemical giant PTT. Thailand’s normally high rate of road accidents typically surges during the Thai New Year’s holidays.
