Get a job with Tesla Thailand tomorrow at Bangkok job fair

Tesla Inc., is ramping up operations in Thailand and that means filling positions ranging from sales to IT.

Those who still dream of working for Elon Musk’s pre-Mars, pre-Twitter obsession can apply for one of many of the advertised positions just a month after it began taking orders in Thailand.

Listed positions include jobs in customer support, finance, sales, vehicle service, construction, engineering, and IT. Job-seekers can apply in person noon to 4pm on Friday at the Inter Continental Bangkok Hotel.

A number of positions pertain to vehicle charging and real estate, indicating that Tesla has plans to address the complete absence of infrastructure to support its vehicles. Thailand has fewer than 1,000 charging stations nationwide, none of which uses Tesla’s proprietary charging technology.

The recruitment push follows Tesla’s announcement last month that it plans to roll its vehicles out in the first quarter of 2023.

As of right now, the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y can be reserved online. The Model 3 sedan is priced at THB1.76 million (US$50,000) and the Model Y SUV runs THB1.96 million (US$56,000).
