Myanmar’s underground expression continues to spill out of that country, and this month eight Myanma artists are staging their rebellion in a Bangkok gallery.
General/Tiger/Gun, a take on rock/paper/scissors, features works in a variety of media on the theme of conflict and insurrection.
The artists are seeking a greater role for Myanmar in the regional arts scene, which they say has long marginalized their contributions.
San Min and his friends will show their paintings, photographs, video clips, installations and more today through the end of the month, May 30, at Rebel Art Space.
Entry is free. Get there by BTS Phra Khanong and walk to Soi Srichan, Sukhumvit 67.
