A former Kellogg School dean has been appointed dean of Thailand’s top business school.
Dipak Jain, who also held the same position at Insead, will become a three-time dean and the second to lead the Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration, according to the school.
Jain replaces Sasin founder Toemsakdi Krishnamra, who led the school at Chulalongkorn University for three decades.
“I’m honored and privileged to follow in the footsteps of Prof. Krishnamra, who has been a mentor to me for 25 years,” Jain said. “And I’m looking forward to working with my colleagues, the students and the alumni of Sasin.”
Sasin was founded in 1982 by Kellogg and Wharton in a collaboration with Chulalongkorn.
In 2010 it became the first school in Thailand to receive accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
