Police announced yesterday that they had continued their forensic investigation into the gruesome murder of a Lat Phrao bank clerk, but that they had not yet arrested any suspects in the case.
The victim, 24-year-old Kriangkrai Khwan-on, worked at a bank in the Lat Phrao district. His body was discovered by police in a hideously mangled state, with its head and limbs removed.
Forensics experts investigating the case are taking into account new evidence that has surfaced as a result of the police investigation. Semen samples and a mysterious fingerprint were found in the victim’s car. Both are being analyzed to determine who might have been with Kriangkrai at the time of his death.
Police have yet to name a cause of death, seeing as Kriangkrai’s head is still missing. The Bangkok Post reports that investigators speculate at least two men were involved in the bank teller’s murder, seeing as Kriangkrai was a stout, well-built individual.
