Post Publishing Plc has recently unveiled Forbes Thailand – a Thai edition of the famed financial periodical. This comes at an opportune time, especially now that Thailand is experiencing economic growth due to upcoming regional integration, Post Publishing’s president and Chief Operating Officer, Supakorn Vejjajiva said at a press conference.
Forbes Thailand will be printed in Thai and will be published by Post International Media – a subsidiary of Post Publishing. The publication is geared towards meeting the ever-growing demand for business news from local entrepreneurs. Interest in economic news has increased significantly in the buildup to the establishment of the Asean Economic Community (AEC) in 2015.
Forbes currently has 400,000 copies per month spread over 17 countries in Asia, said Forbes Asia chief executive officer William Adamopoulos. According to the Bangkok Post, Forbes considers Thailand as a vital growth market in that area.
