Floods submerge temples and pagodas

The Fine Arts Department has reported that many historical sites in the central region are flooded, most of them temples and pagodas, with six other sites still at risk.

The submerged historical sites include Wat Pa Lelai Temple in Nonthaburi, Wat Phra Si Rattanamahathat Temple in Suphan Buri, and Kamphaeng Phet Historical Park in Kamphaeng Phet.

The Director-General of the Fine Arts Department, Anek Sihamart, said his team are monitoring Samut Prakan, Phetchaburi, Samut Songkhram, Ratchaburi, and Samut Sakhon, reported NNT.
