The first group of Thai citizens evacuated from Ukraine landed this morning at Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Thirty-eight Thai nationals arrived from Bucharest via Frankfurt after taking one of two evacuation routes planned for Thais exiting Ukraine, the Foreign Affairs Ministry reported.

Upon arrival, they were tested for COVID-19 and placed in isolation under the Test & Go travel guidelines. A second group of 58 left Warsaw on an Emirates flight yesterday and are expected to arrive later today.

Additionally, the embassy reports that 35 more nationals were traveling by train today to the Ukrainian city of Lviv.
