At a recent charity event, female Muay Thai fighters stepped on the stage in their usual boxing gloves to compete against each other in a beauty contest.
Peach Purahong, a 21-year-old fighter who won a Bronze medal in the W.M.F., received the most votes and was crowned the most beautiful Muay Thai fighter in Thailand.
The guests were judges and to vote each had to pay in roses. Roses were sold at THB100, THB500, and THB1000.
The money earned from the event will be donated to Raminthra Disabled Chidren Foundation.
The party was for the 27th anniversary of Bangkok’s Muay Siam newspaper, Siam Sport reported.
