With a mass of water the size of Kuwait (thanks WSJ) rolling around Thailand, new areas under flood threat every day, and shortages of food around Bangkok, sometimes comic relief is in order.
Or at least that’s what the folks behind new blog Crisis Chic had in mind.
Ever mindful of the fact the the great Thailand Floods of ’11 are a real catastrophe, Bangkok expats Joshua Johnson, Brock Kuhlman, Gaby Doman, and Becky Wicks have been setting up photo shoots around town featuring the chicest of flood apparel. A little humor goes a long way during tough situations, and hey, everyone’s doing it.
“Style shouldn’t go out the window, just ’cause water’s coming in” is their maxim and they do indeed live by it.
