The fare for the Skytrain’s Sukhumvit extension line will be reduced by THB5, starting this May 15.
Bangkok Governor MR Sukhumbhand Paribatra has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Co Ltd (BTS) and the Krungthep Thanakom Co Ltd concerning fare reduction for the Sukhumvit BTS extension line. Fares on the line will be reduced to THB10, a reduction of THB5 from their current amount of THB15.
This change will take effect on May 15 on continue indefinitely from that point on.
Fares on the Silom extension lines will be reduced to THB10 by December 5, pending system improvement.
