A Russian couple set the Thai internet on fire recently after they posted a dangerous clip of themselves atop a construction crane high above Pattaya Bay.
We thought that they were so moved by the beauty of Pattaya Bay that they risked life and limb to create the shocking Feb. 1 video of themselves atop the crane, which is apparently situated on top of the Waterfront Suites & Residences, an abandoned building on Bali Hai Pier.
However, a bit of internet sleuthing revealed that they are Angela Nikolau and Ivan Beerkus, a couple famous for posting these risky elevated selfies all over the world, a dangerous pastime called “rooftopping.”
Nikolau, 23, is actually called the “world’s riskiest selfie girl” and the couple’s shared Instagram account boasts a following of 44,000. The couple appear superfit on their feed, showing that they are yogis and acrobats in addition to adrenaline junkies.

It’s unknown how they gained access to the crane and they did not get permission to be there.
