Footage purporting to show one of this past weekend’s attacks in the south of Thailand has surfaced online.
The 55-second clip was posted online yesterday by a rescue organization and claims to show an attack Friday night at a gas station on Nongjik Road in Muang Pattani.
The footage, which has not been verified, appears to show the explosion of a motorcycle parked between a fuel pump and parked car at a gasoline station. Two people appear and attempt to assist a driver injured in the explosion.
The attack was one of many which seemed part of an planned weekend offensive that struck gas stations, 7-11 stores and other locations. Three people died and more than 60 were injured.
