A Burmese man was stabbed to death by a former convict because he reportedly looked at his girlfriend too many times at an intersection in Nonthaburi Province.
Police said they have arrested Kittinant Siripee, 20, in connection with the murder of a 25-year-old Burmese man named Mueang Niang.
Kittinant told police he was riding his motorcycle with his girlfriend, who works as a coyote dancer, when the incident took place.
He admitted that he is very jealous man and would argue with his girlfriend when other men looked at her.
The suspect said they had been arguing about his jealousy when they stopped for the red light at the intersection. Kittinant said he spotted Mueang glancing at his girlfriend many times and he suddenly became enraged with jealousy.
He reportedly got off his motorbike, walked to Mueang, and asked him why he had been leering at his girlfriend, Kittinant then stabbed the man dead before speeding away on his motorcycle, reported Khaosod.
