Enraged bull elephant charges pickup truck at Khao Yai

An impatient driver got the scare of his life when a bull elephant charged his pickup truck in Khao Yai national park after he honked his horn at the pachyderm.

The elephant was trying to cross the road near Haew Narok waterfall on Thursday afternoon when the pickup driver honked his horn to try and scare it away.

The sound of the horn enraged the wild elephant and it proceeded to charge the pickup truck and at one point it mounted the hood of the vehicle to try and break the windscreen with its tusks.

Once the elephant’s anger had subsided it casually wandered back into the jungle, according to the Chiang Rai Times.

No one was hurt in the incident.
