Enjoy open-air films at the Factory Film Festival

Hasn’t it always been a fantasy of yours to watch a film at an outdoor cinema, under the stars, while holding hands with your lover?

Even if you don’t have a lover to share a film with, you can still enjoy the The Factory Film Festival, presented by The Jam Factory and Bioscope Magazine.

 

Thursday, May 22: Fun Bar Karaoke
Kick off the festival by watching director Pen-Ek Ratanaruang’s first film. There will be a discussion with the director after the screening, hosted by Nawapol ‘Ter’ Thamrongrattanarit.

Friday, May 23: Eyedropper Fill and Hello Filmmaker
Amazing music video creators Eyedropper Fill and Hello Filmmaker will give a talk on their experiences and what goes into making their videos: Lomosonic’s Warm Eyes, Part Time Musician’s The Haunted House and BIG ASS’s Wonderland.

Saturday, May 24: Short Films by various directors
Classic short films by well known directors Spike Jonze, Christopher Nolan, Lars von Trier, Denis Villeneuve and more, will be shown on Saturday. The screenings will be followed by ten short films by new directors and discussions.

Sunday, May 25: Where the Wild Things Are
Spike Jonze’s Where the Wild Things Are will be the finale of the festival on Sunday night. Don’t miss the discussion after the movie hosted by Panu Boonpiputtanapong and artist Arin Rungjang.
