Seasons in Thailand are pretty static. There’s hot and maybe hotter, but that’s pretty much it. For those who miss the vibrant colors of falling leaves and white snow, visit Koi Art Gallery next Friday for a dose of nature.
Abstract artist Soonthorn Sukkaew expresses the colors of nature in his work by breaking the conventional rules of painting. According to the artist, there’s no real dimension in his work, only bold colors which mix and fuse to create boundless structured visuals representing the transition of seasons.
Soonthorn Sukkaew is a nature painter who has held several exhibitions in Thailand.
“Enchanted Seasons” opens Sept. 19.
