A Playboy model was fined yesterday after her video review of a spa treatment — one that showed her bum being vigorously slapped during a slimming massage — went viral on Facebook this week.
Thunnaree Thunyawattanasirichote, better known by her Thai Playboy nickname “Bunny Numay,” was summoned by Pak Kret police to accept charges of public obscenity for posting the 18-second clip showing a bit of her butt.
“I just wanted to film a video for fun … showing that I go to a spa and care for my body. I just want to my friends to look at it and find it funny. I didn’t expect it to be a big deal,” Thunnaree said yesterday in a broadcast interview on Teenee Mochit.
In the end (see what we did there?), police fined her THB1,000 (US$30), and the Playboy bunny decided to delete the video amid the not necessarily universal public criticism.
Meanwhile, Panisha Puseesom, the owner of Relax House Health & Beauty, which provided the aforementioned booty slapping, told Channel 8 that she didn’t think letting a customer make a video of the treatment would be an issue.
Despite her sharing the clip on the spa’s Facebook page, Panisha said the video was not sponsored.
Meanwhile, on Facebook, Bunny Numay has replaced the viral butt slap video with a few tasteful booty shots.
“My butt is in trouble because it’s beautiful,” she wrote on Facebook last night.
