A fashion show at Central World showed a bit more than fashion last night.
Central Pattana apologized this morning for a male model who took off his swim trunks in front of the crowd at last night’s “Naked Summer 2015” fashion show held at 7pm in a public access event zone on the ground floor.
The highlight of the swimsuit show, featuring celebrity Praiya Soandokmai (fully clothed), was a male model getting naked before walking to a shower on the runway to follow the show’s “Naked Summer” theme. CPN apologized but said photos spread online didn’t show that the model was wearing a sliver of a G-string thong.
“The organizers would like to declare that the model was wearing a G-string to prevent any inappropriateness,” CPN wrote today. “However, the photos which have been shared online may cause a misunderstanding and may not suitable for some audience including children. The company feels sorry and would like to apologize for the incident which was caused by a lack of consideration by the organizers.”
The apology came after several angry netizens condemned the shopping mall for allowing such an act in a family-friendly venue.
“Showing a naked person taking a shower, how inappropriate. This is such a despicable idea, you know that? Big mall. Small brains. It was obscenity!,” Ednph Nakhun said.
