Another painful tail of drunken human cruelty.
Two cows were found with their tails chopped off at a stable in Nakorn Sri Thammarat province yesterday. The cows’ owner, Jarune Promsuwan, suspects drunken men removed the tails to make soup.
The famous dish “cow’s tail soup” might have gone along with a tall bottle of Mekhong whiskey, but either way is being blamed for the two cows’ abuse. They were found in pain and unable to stand to breastfeed their calves.
The owner added both cows are 10 years old. He has seven cows and found these two in the morning with the severe wounds on their behinds, Sanook reported.
