Drug dealer used Line to purchase yaba

A suspected drug dealer who purchased her yaba on the social chat network Line was arrested outside of Bangkok yesterday.

Samutprakarn police arrested Duangreutai Mongkolsin, 24, at her house with 4,800 tablets of yaba, three mobile phones and a 9 mm handgun.

Duangreutai said she worked as a food vendor in the Bang Phli neighborhood and that her husband, Tassani, was responsible for selling the drugs. Duangreutai said he obtained the yaba after chatting with a man in prison on Line.

The police believe that Duangtai and Tassani worked together and that Tassanai is aware of the arrest so he escaped.

The police will prosecute the married couple for dealing yaba and owning a gun without a license, Khaosod reported.
