Driver who killed 4 students at science fair apologizes

A former school administrator expressed his sorrow to the dead students and their families after he struck 18 elementary school students – killing four – at a science fair in Nong Bua Lamphu province yesterday.

Bualam Ngobudda said he’s had epilepsy for 10 years and blacked out after he started driving out of the science fair yesterday.

He said he was unconscious the whole time and found out about the tragic accident when he woke up under arrest of the police.

As his personal driver did not come to work and his condition has seemed better, Bualam decided to drive himself that day.

The former school principal will be charged with negligent driving resulting in death, MThai reported.
