A trash hauler died after his truck slammed into a concrete utility pole on Srinakarin Road this morning.
Driver Sompong Anukul was reported dead on scene after the 5am accident, which caused a blackout in the Ramkhamhaeng area.
The accident happened after Sompong reportedly lost control of the vehicle and rammed the truck into an electric pole near the Krung Thep Kritha intersection. The crash also pulled down three other connected poles.
According to witnesses, Sompong lost control when a motorbike cut in front of his truck, Kapook reported.
