Pizza Aroy gives new meaning to “pick up” pizza with brick oven on wheels

The food truck trend is hitting the rest of the world, so what do we get? That’s right, brick oven pizza served off the back of a pickup truck. The folks behind Pizza-Aroy have managed to mount an entire brick oven to the back of a utility pickup truck. Pickup trucks aren’t just for farmers anymore.

The pizza looks promising, with classics like Bolognese and Hawaiian pies along with a few experimental pizzas that we like the sound of, namely the Pizza Mai Sabai, a sort of krapow pizza with minced chicken, basil, peppers and onions. They also serve real Italian Gelato, along with Italian staples like pasta and garlic bread.

Despite being on wheels, this 12-inch pickup truck pizza is stationed in the neighborhood of Town-in-town, tucked right behind Lad Phrao.

Expect a full and detailed of this unusual dining venue soon.
