Opposite’s latest pop-up restaurant: Italian Aperitivo

While the stuffy five star hotels are bringing in big name chefs to do two-week long stints, WTF’s Opposite is staying true to its hipster roots and offering the same sophistication in relaxed and laid-back setting with its newest popup restaurant, Crudo: Italian Aperitivo.

The special two-night dining experience on July 13th &14th is the collaboration of Electrolux Thailand, Theodore-The Seafood Specialist and Campari & Cinzano. Paolo Vitaletti, formerly of Shangri-La’s Angelini will be doing the cooking.

The fare being served is varied, with raw treats like Crudo dal Mare, meaning “raw from the sea” all the way to a Blue Crab Risotto & Cremolata pasta and a fennel and amaro straga liquor shooter.

Along with most of Opposite’s productions, the format of this dinner is rather unorthodox. The seating arrangement is open, and guests are encouraged to mingle and sample the selection of Aperitivo drinks meant to stimulate one’s appetite during the dinner.

Tickets are THB1,800 and include food and free-flow aperitivo drinks. 40 spots will be allocated each night, head to  http://www.wtfbangkok.com to secure a seat.
