Don’t sweat the shutdown: Immigration services at three locations

Thailand’s immigration authorities are taking measures to make things easy despite the pending “shutdown” of the capital by protesters Monday.

Starting Monday and continuing until further notice, all immigration bureau services will be offered at additional locations in Lat Phrao and Rat Burana districts.

While the main Immigration Bureau offices in the Government Complex on Chaeng Wattana Road intend to remain open, the two new sites will be available as well.

These are the same two sites which began offering 90-day check-in services last week.

Not far from the Ratchadapisek MRT station, the Immigration Service Center is on the fifth floor of Imperial World Ladprao on Lat Phrao Road. Those residing east of the mighty Chao Phraya can visit the Immigration Service Centerl on the first floor of Major Hollywood Suksawat on Suksawat Road in the Rat Burana district. Both offices will be open from 10:30am to 6:30pm, Monday through Friday. Closed on holidays.
