Don’t let a little rain fool you, May will be even hotter

Bangkok survived Sunday’s hot, sticky solar encounter with a peak temperature of 36 degrees Celsius. Not too bad.

Heliophiliacs disappointed by today’s mild weather should know there’s a silver lining to those clouds: May starts tomorrow and forecasts indicate it will be the year’s hottest month.

While storms are tearing through central, north and northeastern Thailand, Bangkok will sweat through the high 30s until the middle of the month, when monsoon season should start blowing some lusty kisses our way.
