With political opponents now threatening to kidnap one another, one official has a plan to confuse his kidnappers.
After Suthep Thaugsuban announced the epic plan to kidnap Yingluck Shinawatra and her troop of ministers if the government refuses to quit, Transport Minister Chadchart Sittipunt responded via Facebook last night.
“They say they will kidnap ministers and force them to quit. I guess I will continue to do my thing as usual,” he wrote. “I just hope they won’t capture my twin brother. I already told him to scream out ‘I’m the twin!’ to the kidnappers. But just so you know, I’ll also do the same.”
