Renovations to Bangkok’s Don Muang International Airport are set for completion in 2016, and should come with a price tag of just over THB10 billion.
The plan, which will furnish the airport with several major renovations, was given an approval in principle by Airports of Thailand Plc. (AoT) this past Friday.
If the plan proceeds in its current form, it will result in several changes to the airport’s infrastructure. Passenger terminal two will be given a facelift, and the domestic passenger and cargo terminals will undergo renovations as well.
The Bangkok Post reports that phase one of the project will likely be completed within the year, whereas the overall endeavor will take three years to reach fruition.
