Talk about a makeover.
A woman is blaming a spiteful pet groomer for her two Pomeranians’ bad haircuts, photos of which she shared on Pantip.
Apparently she took her two pomeranians to a pet salon at Seacon Square shopping mall on Monday for some grooming. As she was a regular customer, she left the dogs with a new “grumpy-looking” groomer and went to dinner.
Her instructions to the groomer were: “Shorter hair on the face and body, and leave their tails like that. Just like last time, you know? Make them look round and short.”
Well, she got what she asked for: Shorter hair on the face and body.
Except when she returned to fetch her pooches, she found they’d been turned into a totally different breed. They were both stunned by their dogs’ Chihuahua-like appearance, but the groomer insisted that’s what she asked for.
“You told me to do this,” he reportedly said. “What else do you want!?”
Among the various commentators who stopped to have a laugh at the expense of her pets’ dignity, some did agree the reconfiguration of her dogs was pretty unprofessional.
“It’s not funny, and I can’t laugh at it,” one user wrote. “Being a groomer, he has to have some common sense. He is in the service industry and needs to communicate with customers. This is very unprofessional!”
Last night the user returned to the forum to say the salon’s owner contacted her to apologize after the story went viral. The grumpy employee will be punished and her money returned.
