After having been horribly mutilated by a neighbor for chewing his shoes in May, Cola, who lost both of his front legs in the horrific show of anger, can once again run and assume the life of a normal pooch.
Cola’s legs were cut off by an angry neighbor in Samut Prakarn but he recently received his first pair of prosthetic legs.
The charity Soi Dog Foundation stepped in to help after the story of the animal abuse went viral. They happily released a video of Cola’s reaction when he got to run for the first time with his new legs.
Honestly, we think he doesn’t need time to get used to the new legs at all. Cola immediately ran around the room, wagging his tail at people as if he’d like to say “Hey, thanks for cool legs.”
Recently, Cola was reportedly adopted by Gill Dalley, the co-founder of Soi Dog Foundation. She has been the caretaker of this dog at her home in Phuket since the horrible incident.
Cola managed to get around a bit without his prosthetic legs, but now he can also hop “like a kangaroo.” Dalley and Cola Have lots in common. They both wear prosthetic legs and, in a way, this rescue seemed like destiny, Soi Dog Foundation wrote on Facebook.
