A documentary on life after the tsunami is currently in the works, with plans for release to coincide with the 10th anniversary this Boxing Day. “Silent Waters,” by Englishman Mike Thomas, focuses on the lives of the inhabitants of Koh Phra Thong, a remote island north of Khao Lak.
Thomas also created the documentary “Living With the Tiger,” which explored the stigma associated with HIV-infected orphans in Lopburi province.
Thomas is crowdfunding the production of the new film. For more information, visit the documentary page.
