DLT to propose construction plans for 3 new BTS lines

The Department of Land Transport (DLT) will propose the construction plans for three new skytrain lines to cabinet within January, Soitip Traisut, general-secretary of DLT, said yesterday.

The designation of the median price for the construction of the orange line (Taling Chan – Min Buri), the yellow line (Ladprao – Samrong), and the pink line (Khae Rai – Min Buri) will be held by the end of this year.

Meanwhile, the grand opening of the purple line (Bang Yai – Bang Sue) is expected to take place in the beginning of next year and additional skytrains will be transported to Thailand for testing in September.
