The Dinosaur Planet, a new theme park, is set to take Bangkokians back to the days of planet Earth when it was home to dinosaurs later this month.
After pulling some entertaining PR stunts on Bangkok streets and getting their dinosaur arrested and fined, the Dinosaur Planet is scheduled to open on March 25 at EmSphere for curious parkgoers to learn about dinosaurs in its 12,000 sqm. complete “edutainment” center.
Among the exciting highlights to look forward to is riding on the back of a dinosaur as you explore the “dinosaur farm” and take part in interactive games, or as you hop onto the “Dino Eye,” a crystal capsule on a giant wheel where you can observe the ancient world from a bird’s-eye view.
Dinosaur Planet is a THB500 million project by FWR, a joint enterprise between Workpoint, Fresh Air Festival and Rightman. They expect to welcome more than 2 million local and foreign visitors.
The admission prices are THB600 for adults, THB400 for children under 140 centimeter height, and free for children under 90 centimeter height.
