Diesel tanker topples near Bangkok University

A tanker truck transporting 20,000 liters of diesel fuel rolled onto its side near Bangkok University this morning, paralyzing traffic in the area. No injuries were reported.

Around 7am a truck belonging to Action Container Co., Ltd. lost control on the road and toppled while en route to fill a gas station in Pathum Thani province.

Authorities closed the road and brought in two fire trucks to clean oil from the road to prevent a fire.

The incident paralyzed the morning traffic on Paholyothin Road, as it had to remain closed while the company transferred the oil to a new truck, MThai reported.
