UPDATE: Event is canceled due to the ongoing political unrest and will be rescheduled at a later time.

Is there any love quite so sweet as a demon’s love?

Reinterpreting the love of Thotsakan, big bad of the Ramakien, dance demon Pichet Klunchun and piano virtuoso Nat Yontararak perform “Move with Meanings” Thursday at Sala Sudasiri Sobha.

“The performance will be interpreted through innovative dance movements on piano solo compositions as well as arrangements by Nat Yontararak,” according to a release from the Pichet Klunchun Dance Co.

The performance opens with an arrangement of General Prem Tinsulanonda’s impassioned composition “Thou fragrance,” to be performed live with Nat on piano and Pichet dancing solo. After that, the entire dance troop will take the stage to dance along with other arrangements and compositions by Nat.

The four days of performance starting Thursday is the first collaboration between the two Silpathorn Award recipients, which recognizes contributions to contemporary Thai art.
