The opposition Democrat Party is signaling it will join new elections after skipping the last.
A “high-ranking source” told The Nation yesterday the party would likely choose to participate in the next referendum after its leadership votes in secret.
That vote was expected to happen today, before an anti-government rally scheduled for tomorrow.
In December sources within the party signaled they’d join the Feb. 2 election days before announcing a boycott.
Those election results were thrown out by the Constitutional Court last week.
