It looks like CentralWorld, the mall known for annually displaying a giant Christmas tree and props that draw thousands of selfie takers, is going with Disney-themed decorations this year.
Anyone passing CentralWorld this morning must have seen Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Donald Duck sadly trapped in a protective cage while the decorating process is still ongoing.

It is reported that the theme for this festive season is a celebration of the 10th anniversary of Hong Kong Disneyland, as the mall is also hosting a lucky draw for a free trip to the theme park.
Either way, we expect a giant crowd of locals joyfully taking selfies and going, “OMG. This is so cute.”
Last year, CentralWorld displayed a hundred Snoopys, some wearing space suits, to promote the NASA’s exhibition.
