Seizing them wasn’t enough, now someone has decided to change the name of at least one ministry.
No one has stepped up to confess, but someone yesterday changed the sign in front of the Ministry of Defence, renaming it “The Ministry of the Servants of the Masses,” according to a photo which has been turned up on Twitter.
The message carries political significance, as anti-government protesters have referred to themselves as “mass citizens.” However, further investigation will be pursued, Sanook reported.
Earlier this week, the People’s Democratic Reform Committee, which is seeking to replace elected representation with a royally appointed oligarchy, urged civil servants at all Thai ministries to side with them.
